First Friday Art Crawl Join us on the first friday of every month from 6:30 - 8:00 pm for the First Friday Art Crawl. Each month the Jones House, along with other downtown Boone galleries, showcases the works of exciting artists. Guests can meet the artists and purchase prints or original pieces. Light refreshfreshments are served. Art Crawls of 2013 run on Feb. 1st, March 1st, April 5th, May 3rd, June 7th, July 5th, Aug. 2nd, Sept. 6th, Oct. 4th, Nov. 1st, and Dec. 6th. . Easter EGGstravaganza The Easter Eggstravaganza is a springtime celebration for children and families, highlighted by the annual Easter Egg Hunt around the grounds of the Jones House. After arts and crafts at the Watauga County Library, participants parade to the Jones House for Easter egg hunts. The hunts are divided into age groups so that all participants can share in the fun! Fourth of July The July 4th celebrations in Boone are always good time and plenty of summer fun. The Jones House is front and center in those activities. The front lawn is a great place to watch the 4th of July parade go by and we've got all kinds of music and activities for revelers of all ages! This year's Fourth of July Parade will be on Thursday, July 4, 2013 Halloween Boone Boo! The annual Downtown Boone Boo! is a special halloween treat. Beginning with arts and crafts at the Watauga Library, participants then parade over to the Jones House for tricks, treats, and a spooky haunted house. From the Jones House, participants are welcome to visit participating downtown merchants for trick-or-treating. This year's Halloween Boone Boo! will be on Thursday, October 31, 2013 Christmas at the Jones House Each year in December, the House is decked out in its holiday finest. Locally-grown live trees and greenery are brought in to enhance the antique beauty of the house. The lawn of the Jones House is also the perfect place to watch the annual Christmas parade go by. Come in out of the cold to enjoy a cup of hot cocoa or cider, check out the decorations and artwork. Christmas gift-wrapping is available on Saturdays during the month of December. This year's Christmas Parade will be on Saturday, December 7, 2013
