There's nothing like the 4th of July Celebration in a beautiful mountain community like Boone, North Carolina. The Jones House Community Center plays a central role on this festive day, decorated in red, white, and blue and providing the best location in town for viewing the annual 4th of July Parade! This year, the town parade will feature a special Centennial float in honor of the 100th anniversary of the Jones House! Other Centennial events will include the a performance of "Music Through the Ages" by the Watauga County Community Band on the Jones House lawn, guided tours through the Jones House, and all the watermelon you can eat!
