![]() Blue Ridge ArtSpace is a professionally managed, yet fully accessible, arts-focused hub for the entire High Country region. ArtSpace is centrally located at 130 Depot Street in downtown Boone, just steps off of King Street and within walking distance of downtown shops, restaurants, and parking. The ArtSpace facility includes artists’ studio spaces, workshop rooms, a gallery and retail store, a small kitchen, and a performance and gathering space for both ArtSpace events and community functions. |
Update Aug. 2: The Watauga County Arts Council has recently made arrangements to partner with Rich Jacobs of ArtWalk (which is opening directly across the street from the Jones House) to open a temporary branch of the Blue Ridge ArtSpace's retail operation in the ArtWalk facility. We plan to only offer work which has been juried through a two-stage jury process (see attached brochure for details). We are currently accepting applications from artists and would appreciate any help you can offer toward getting the word out. Eligible artists must have at least a part-t ime
residence in Watauga County or in an adjoining county. The deadline for the
jury for this early opening will be Tuesday, August 9th at 5pm.
